Glad they did your lags correctly, probably as a result of you working with them on the design of your rig, it being unit 1, etc. The rest of us however have a really big problem and as the miles add up, they get even worse. My 382 was missing lags, they were too small, some were bent from the strain. I also had to replace my suspension similar to what you guys do with the system you put on. Sort of sad that a vehicle made for traveling needs to have aftermarket suspension put on, isn't it? Should I be expected to do this on my car too? Of course not. GD has big problems, I hope they solve them vs. profit and run from all of us owners.

I packed and remote camped on the back side of the rock about 15 years ago. Great experience. Now at 60+, it's not going to happen. Great memories.

I've forgotten about the lights needing to be on for the camera to work, cans here to trouble shoot and not I know why the camera would work when I opened my door but shut off as soon as my door was closed

I must be getting old. $55 per night seems darn expensive for an RV site and for folks who are full time RV cruisers, that kind of rent works out to be $1,650 a month as you stay in the various parks. My guess is the actual costs for RV spaces are likely to average a bit more than that as some charge for the site, then the water, the sewer and the power in addition. My thoughts about the Firefly people in administration. they should never have said anything about the fact they warned you about starting hours and duration of their construction. What they should have done is to offer you a discount or move you to another location just once and move the newcomers around as they come in. Not everyone is going to have an issue with the noise either so the odds would have been better for them to have moved your space and see what the newcomers have to say about it. Problem was, you had your friends all set up in the rental which made the conditions much more difficult to resolve. I think they would have been best off charging you a much lower cost due to the noise. If I were there, I would have said to them, why are the rates on the west side the same as the other spots 1/4 mile away? You have worse conditions due to the construction and the rates don't reflect this. Too bad people these days are not aware of the term "the customer is usually right" when doing business. However, I can say society is not the same as it used to be either so that makes some customers wrong.

But this is one of the best “first world problems” situation I’ve ever seen 😆 this is the worst thing that has happened to you? 😂 I wish this was the worst of my problems. We've been to parks where construction is taking place and they have actually discounted the site or gave 'free stays' for future stays. The very least they should have a big sign at the check in indicating construction. Sounds like this rv resort should take a class in positive customer engagement.

Hey we just stayed in the EXACT SAME RV spot at Seaside RV Resort. HEY CHAD were there still little stick and rock toy sized buildings built in the gravel at the back of the spot? My kids built their own little city there

That 07:01 noise to those Firefly people is the sound of money. Yeah, they should have told you guys. Too bad about the poor customer service. Seems like they only care about getting their money, not the experience of the guests. Since we camp (not RV) the state park would be the winner for us.

I can relate to the construction. Years back, we rented a home, a beautiful newer 2 story near Orlando. It was so new that come early the first morning, we found them excavating the area abutting to our rental property. The private pool we had at our rental home was very dirty, probably from the close by excavating. The noise all day was so bad, we made a point to just use the home for sleeping. We thought about complaining since there was no mention of construction but the house was so amazing, we just made a mental note for future vacations. The noise and sand & dirt blowing everywhere is terribly disappointing while anticipating a peaceful, relaxing time.

We stay at Firefly on a regular basis. We have never had anything but a great experience every time from start to finish. And it’s not that expensive. All those other parks you talked about for $80 a night we have never ever paid that much at Firefly. We were there for Spring Break we stay on the third tier facing the clubhouse never heard construction noise.

Hate to say it but the prices you paid are normal for the FXB, Austin, San Antonio area of Texas. We stay at Bending Oaks Ranch when we visit. We like it because it is adults only with lots of trees. It is also quiet, and the owners are very easy to work with.

Sounds like it's all about the money to not advise the cunsumer, but short sighted in long run. Even as nice as the park is with all offered the odds of you staying there again are slim I'm sure. Sounds a bit on the pricy side of things for me as a person who does not use the pool, pickleball courts etc its just lost on us.

If all you can do is complain about places , it sounds like it is time to sell your luxury toy hauler and stay in that cabin you bought. I understand more than most about chronic pain but I am about to unsubscribe because all the both of you do is complain . I bet you two cannot do one video without complaining. Most of us cannot afford the wonderful luxury rv you have, and have to wait to retire so cut out the complaining. You keep saying you do not like to complain but gee you guys do a bunch of it. Spring break in Texas is not the time to go to the hill country it can be hot one minute and very cold the next.
